The film opens with the speech of  the "Duke of York" at the close of the 1925 Empire Exhibition at Wembley, , which he messes up with his "speech disfluency".This upsets the mob and and made them think about who has to take over the throne after "King George V".

Days rolled by , and one fine day , "Duke of yoke " listens to that recording and was astonished , it was a splendid fluent speech. He then  gets back to Lionel and undergoes the speech therapy. His sessions focused on muscle relaxation , breath control and other canonical treatments.
The final scene of the movie is the speech of  "King George VI" upon the declaration of war with Germany.
Logue stays with the king in the studio during the radio broadcast. The King delivers his speech as if to Logue , who coaches him through every moment. The King delivers his speech with fluency , following the tips and tricks offered by Lionel.
