The Day when my senses stood still.......

It was a drowsy Sunday night and it was raining cats and dogs.Me,mom,dad and my uncle who had come from the states after a very long span of 12 years decided to have a brisk dinner in a good restaurant.Finally the call was "Sachin ka dhaba besant nagar".I asked my dad, a formality permission to drive the car.My access point was clearly defined and my father readily gave me the keys.
Every thing was normal as it should be because it was not the first time I'am driving a car.Every thing changed when we reached the Besant Nagar beach.Two barricades placed very close to each other and the vision from the steering wheel being nil, I was forced to slow down from the late 60's to the young 20's.I had to take an immediate left turn after those idiotic barricades which I did perfectly but failed to notice the "Big Boss pavement" on to my left.
And Yes !! as you all guessed I drove on to the pavement and tore the tires and misshaped the rim.Our car dint move an inch and the car from behind started to blow its horn rapidly.This was exactly when my senses stood still.Dad quickly came to the rescue and drove it to the corner of the road.
